architect
Formed his architecture education at IUAV, Venice, and at the TU, Delft obtaining a MSc Degree in Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences. Before joining 51N4E in Brussels in 2022, he collaborated with different offices developing different architectural approaches, from housing renovation during his first Italian experiences to punctual landscape intervention and larger urban re-configurations during his time in France and the Netherlands. The common thread through all these projects is the strong dedication to the as-found, seeing the re-use of existing resources as a starting point for radical changes. In fact, in 2022 he was curatorial assistant for the German Pavilion at the Architecture Biennale in Venice with the contribution “Open for Maintenance”. He’s also co-running the Ghent based collective Verloren Bekisting, dedicated to temporary interventions through the re-use of on-spot available resources, and the Brussels based collective ALTER, focusing on advancing reuse practices in architecture through collective action, exploring the intersection of design and execution, building a community grounded in shared values and experimentation.
